About NDA Examination
The NDA is a joint service academy of the Indian Armed Forces. Under this training, candidates of three wings (Army, Navy, and Air Force) are trained simultaneously.
Located in Khadakwasla Lake, 20 km from Pune city, NDA was built at the time of the British state to strengthen national security by providing the candidates training according to their interests and selection.
The exam is conducted twice a year, and the candidates have the option to take it three times.
Education Qualification – NDA
To get enrolled for this examination, it’s necessary to have a valid 12th certification from a recognized board.
NDA exam after 12th according to the wings:
- Army Wing – 12th pass from a recognized board
- Navy – 12th pass with Physics & Math
- Air Force – 12th pass with Physics & Math
Considering the pandemic’s current scenario, candidates can join NDA training after completing their 12th and submit the mark sheet later when the board issues it.
What is the Age Limit to join NDA 2022?
Any unmarried person can join the NDA entrance exam aged between 16 to 19 years.

Join NDA after 12 – Application Process
Every year NDA releases its registration form at the official website of UPSC, which comprises two parts:
The first part is registration, while the second consists of detailed form filling, such as selection of exam centers, application fees, etc.

- A citizen of India

The NDA written examination consists of 2 papers that are 900 marks.
- Mathematics (300 marks)
- General Ability Test (600 marks)
